howtAt Caring Hearts & Helping Hands Home Care, you are welcomed here with love. Let me start by telling you my story. I was born in Liberia, West Africa to two dedicated, loving, and supportive parents. Unfortunately, I lost my mother at the age of 4 and my father, by the age of 12. Nonetheless, the importance of a steadfast faith in God and the spirit of being of service to others were traits instilled in me by the parental figures who raised me. Though I have spent the majority of my life without my mother and father, their caring nature endures through me.
During the COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020, a friend’s elderly mother needed 24-hour care and they made the difficult decision to place her in a nursing home. When I heard how the facility neglected her, my heart broke. I am a firm believer that everyone deserves to be treated with love, respect, and kindness, especially the elderly and the sick. Seeing this woman was once full of life now drained and lacking the zeal she once embodied planted the seed of what would become Caring Hearts & Helping Hands Home Care.
I launched Caring Hearts & Helping Hands Home Care with the mission to
provide more than just home care. We aim to improve the quality of life, revitalize spirits, and create a loving community for people who need it most. We are not meant to live life alone. Instead, we are called to live life in service to each other, to love, to support, and to have compassion. Those principles, along with integrity, are woven into the foundation of Caring Hearts & Helping Hands Home Care where your loved one is not just a patient but a person.
At a young age, God revealed His purpose for my life. And that purpose is to serve marginalized and disenfranchised communities through love, grace and great compassion. Throughout my life, I have been obedient to God’s call. Caring Hearts & Helping Hands Home Care is an extension of that purpose. My hope is that through those touched by working with us, we are all reminded of God’s command to love one another.
